Last weekend before Christmas we went and stayed in Luxembourg City. What a beautiful place it is. Beautiful old plastered buildings, traces of ancient quarters and fortifications and a great Christmas Market. After the steep inclines around the old city gave us a good workout we ventured into the Market square to search the stalls for a warm snack. We decided to try some Gromperekichelcher - A spiced potato pancake with chopped onions and parsley, then deep-fried...they were delicious!
